Equipment

Equipment The CM-30 Tipper is designed for low volume use in applying a single color to the top of the embossed characters on a plastic card. The tipping color makes the cards more attractive and easier to read. The tipping foil comes in easily changed rolls and is available in several colors the most popular of which are black, silver, gold or white. The CM-30 tips in a financial card format - where data is in the lower half of the card similiar to a standard credit card. To tip a card the operator simply places a card on the tray and presses down on the handle. This allows the operator to be in full control of pressure and duration during the tipping process. Temperature is adjusted by a control knob on top of the tipper. Tipping foils may be ordered separately. See ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT and/or SUPPLIES for related items.

Concerned Women for America - RNC Leader Racicot Meets with Homosexual Lobby Group

Concerned Women for America - RNC Leader Racicot Meets with Homosexual Lobby Group RNC Leader Racicot Meets with Homosexual Lobby Group 4/9/2003 By Peter LaBarbera Promises ‘Tolerance,’ No 'Gay-Baiting' Political Ads in HRC Meeting Republican National Committee Chair Marc Racicot spoke to a gathering of 300 homosexual activists in a meeting organized by the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s leading “gay” pressure group, on March 7 in Washington, D. C. But an RNC spokesman downplayed the significance of the appearance event in an interview with Culture & Family Report According to one “gay” activist who attended the meeting — which the homosexual newspaper The Washington Blade reports was closed to the press — Racicot disavowed “gay-baiting” political ads for GOP candidates endorsed by the RNC. His spokesman Dan Ronayne reportedly told The Blade that Racicot was "honored" to address the HRC activists to express "our party's commitment to tolerance and inclusion." The former governor of Montana, who gained national attention as the spokesman for George W. Bush during the Florida election crisis in 2000, has a history of pro-homosexual advocacy in his home state. But his appearance at the HRC event set a precedent for the national party. It was the first time the leader of the RNC addressed a homosexual group. Racicot’s appearance before HRC—which has endorsed scores of mostly Democratic candidates over the years, and which supports homosexual “marriage” and “transgender” rights—is the latest sign that GOP elites are abandoning the party’s “family values” stance opposing homosexual activism. In recent months, some GOP leaders such as New York Gov. George Pataki have stepped up their support for pro-homosexual legislation. "Some GOP leaders seem intent on cutting off their right arm in order to reach out with their left," said Robert Knight, director of CWA's Culture & Family Institute. "This is foolish and will not go unnoticed by the party's conservative grassroots. "Mr.

FMB On-line - Master Builder Magazine - November 2002 - Find-A-Vehicle

FMB On-line - Master Builder Magazine - November 2002 - Find-A-Vehicle It's off and running The first FMB member to take delivery of a Find-A-Vehicle truck was Michael Baker, of Baker Roofing and Construction in Banstead, Surrey. He hasn't bought a second hand vehicle for 30 years, but felt that the Federation were offering too good a deal to miss. He wasted no time in registering his interest at the FMB annual conference in September, where the initiative with BT was announced, and decided on a Ford Transit with a brand new tipper mechanism. He also negotiated a no-deposit, one-year loan with Bank of Scotland at an attractive rate. He told Master Builder: "Due to the problems often associated with buying a reliable second-hand vehicle, we normally buy new vehicles. We have several seven-ton trucks, which we have to supplement with smaller trucks that we hire for contracts with restricted access, which is all too common in the Greater London area. The Find-A-Vehicle offer is really great news for firms like us and, if you think about what you're spending on hire costs, buying a vehicle like this is a very good deal indeed, especially as mine comes with a brand new tipper unit. "The rapid depreciation of new vehicles and the fact that the BT Fleet vehicles have been looked after and come with guarantees are the key factors that really make the deal beneficial to us" he said. Robin Hood-Leeder, FMB director of membership services, said: "This is a significant new benefit for members, enabling them to upgrade their commercial and business vehicles without tying up working capital. "The vehicles are well-maintained and relatively low mileage as BT has a policy of replacing commercial vehicles every four to five years and cars every two to three years. Most have only had a single driver and all will be sold with an extendable 12-month warranty and full MOT where applicable. "Those taking advantage of the scheme will be able to choose from the 8,000 Ford commercial vehicles, many fitted out with storage and workbenches, or equipped with brand new tipper bodies, and the 6,000 prestige cars including Mercedes, Jaguar and BMW that BT releases each year."
